There are 2 components required for any mass communication. Content (what are you going to say) and a List (who are you going to say it to).
An easy way to start doing this would be in Mailchimp, which if you don't know already is an online platform with easy to use templates that help you to create professional looking newsletters. Not only does it allow you to create the content it will also store your List. The challenge then becomes, "How do we build the list?"
You need to find ways of funneling your various contact lists that may be scattered over several different platforms into a central "database" of clients. In this case, Mailchimp. For the purpose of this post, we are exploring how to use Eventbrite to automatically sync it's guest list with your newsletter list, in effect, funneling one list into another, master list.
I was able to present at the Airdrie Women in Business, Professional Development day this past weekend and we covered a lot on the topic of professional communications. Due to the timeline I wasn't able to go into detail on this topic, so I thought I would post it here. This is not the only way to build your list, but it is helpful if you also manage events for your business or organization.
